We stumbled on this book by a chance encounter. bought it on a whim. read it. realized that it ranks up there with some of the best writing ever.(and, very seriously, i'm comparing it to "the rebel" by camus or the metamorphises by Kafka- a personal narrative that just grips you). this is first person, personal, poignant, articulate, smart, funny.
i actually believe that this book should be a mandatory read for kids - or adults if they want to actually know something.

Such a great book! Can't wait for the next one!!!!! I have always loved reading anything she wrote but this one really hit home. My 3 year old daughter has been experiencing seizures and this book really helped me and put my mind at ease!!! And her sense of humor through everything is amazing!!!!!
